Mathilde Hogsnes is currently a Ph.D. research fellow with the Mobile Technology Lab at Kristiania University College in Oslo, Norway. She holds a master’s degree in information systems with a specialization in digital business systems from Westerdals School of Arts, Communication and Technology, and a bachelor's degree in marketing and communication from BI Business School in Bergen.
Mathilde's primary research focuses on social influence, social influencers, and commercial concepts on visual social media platforms. Mathilde works closely with the industry. She is vastly experienced in the fashion and beauty industries in Norway and has worked with social media management and influencer marketing since 2015. Through her research and practical experiences, she is highly knowledgeable about the current visual social media use and practices in the Norwegian and the Nordic market.
